Before the Apple Watch was launched in 2015 design agency Fabrique asked us to explore the added value of the watch. To showcase the benefits we designed an app for 9292, a dutch public transit company. We used the Apple Watch to guide travelers through their journey.
By researching what the device is capable of and understand the relationship between the watch and the iPhone. We could get a perfect understanding of all the benefits.

In the brainstorm session, we came up with three concepts. We sketched out the scenarios to illustrate to the client how the user is going to these different stages.
SKETCHES OF THE DIFFERENT USE CASES
We created an Apple Watch app to give the user the right travel information at the right moment.
We designed a journey of a user traveling from point A to point B. We looked when the app needs to become active and how the information needs to be presented to the user. We made a couple of iterations before we came up with this design.
